# Cooking steps:
01 - Combine softened butter, finely chopped chives, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl until evenly mixed.
02 - Spread the herbed butter thinly over one side of each bread slice.
03 - On six bread slices, layer a slice of ham and cheese each. Top with remaining slices, buttered side down, to form sandwiches.
04 - Using a Christmas tree-shaped cookie cutter, cut each sandwich into tree shapes. Reserve scraps for another use.
05 - Insert cocktail sticks through each mini sandwich stack. Top each with a cherry tomato or olive as a tree topper.
