11 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

→ Glaze

12 - 1 cup powdered sugar
13 - 2–3 tbsp milk
14 - 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

# Cooking steps:

01 - In a large bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt until evenly combined.
02 - Add warm milk, warm water, melted butter, and egg to dry ingredients. Mix to form a soft dough then knead for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
03 - Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm environment for 40 minutes or until doubled in size.
04 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
05 - Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll into a 16 by 10 inch rectangle.
06 - Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough, then sprinkle light brown sugar and cinnamon uniformly.
07 - Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a log, pinch the seam to seal, then cut the log lengthwise in half using a sharp knife.
08 - With the cut sides facing upward, twist the two halves around each other to form strands.
09 - Shape the twisted dough into a wreath and pinch the ends together to seal. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
10 - Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly.
11 - Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle the glaze evenly over the warm wreath before serving.
